Alicja Kwade is particularly interested in how reality is constructed, as well as the experience of space and time. She incorporates philosophical questions and scientific insights into her work. The eponymous title ambo comes from the Latin and means both, as well as ambiguous. In AMBO, Kwade invites the viewer into an artistic laboratory, which provides unusual perceptual experiences.
