AMAZING ART The Trustees of Reservations will launch “TunnelTeller,” a new art installation by Alicja Kwade, in Ipswich at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate.

The Polish-born, mixed-media artist is known for her sculptures that examine concepts such as space and time. “TunnelTeller,” a contemporary interpretation of the former hedge maze once located on the property, will open Saturday, May 19, and continue through April 30, 2019.

This will mark the third installation of The Trustees’ public art series, “Art & the Landscape,” which launched two years ago.

You can meet the artist during a public opening on May 19 during “Home Sweet Home.” The free, statewide open house day, themed “The Art of the Garden: Inspiration Grows Here,” will offer garden-themed activities and feature a trail map of The Trustees’ gardens and designed landscapes.
