Sound- film- and installation-artist Kristin Oppenheim presents her body of work from the last 25 years of a career, explaining how she uses language, performance and story telling as tools to create layers of narratives in her installations, which have been shown at The Venice Biennale, PS1 MoMA NYC, Whitney Museum of Modern Art and Centre Pompidou in Paris among many other places all over the world. Oppenheim was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, studied Fine Art in San Francisco and New York and is now based in Brooklyn. During April 2017 CCA Andratx has the honor of hosting Oppenheim in Studio Azul, where she will be living and working as a part of our renown Artist-in-Residence programme.
